went to quality hotel after school today for their buffet dinner.
the food’s not bad,
and the price is a good deal for the food you’re getting.
a big thanks to adrian, my nie friend, for treating us to the dinner.

anyway,
we were talking about many things during the trip and dinner.
and i’m reminded about how naive and sheltered i am.
sometimes i can’t see the truth behind a matter until someone voices it out.
hmmm…
a sheep among wolves?

thank God for putting great friends around me.

in the world but not of the world

ok,
just a quick post.

i’m supposed to be reading my bio e-learning notes now.
but as you can see from the words appearing on this page…
i’m obviously not reading my bio e-learning notes now.
=X

anyway,
since my last entry on new year’s eve,
school’s started and i’m back into my busy busy mood.
the problem is…
i’m not getting along with my busy busy mood.
my busy busy mood wants to be busy busy,
but i still want to be lazy lazy~
ahhh….
i still want it to be the holidaaaayyyyyyyyyyysssssss~!
=P

and getting up on time is really a pain.
all my classes this term start early in the morning.
and as most of my friends know,
i am definitely not a morning person.

oh well…
i better start becoming busy busy if i want to keep up with my lessons!

remember,
the path to our destiny may not always be straight and easy.
but that is what makes reaching it so much more precious.

it’s been quite awhile, since my last rhyme.
i’m doing one now, cos i have the time.
since my last, i’ve found my path.
no longer lost, i can spare a laugh.

when that rib snapped, i was thrown into a sea.
and when it healed, i was still pes b.
into 42 i went, thinking nothing but doom.
but soon i realised, God was helping me bloom.

for over a year, i worked in there.
meeting many different people, from everywhere.
i managed a store, and did some driving.
when june 10 came, it was a bitter-sweet parting.

and that path i seeked, it came to me.
i finally got in, to NIE.
now my first sem’s done, and i’m doing great.
waiting for the next, hope i’ll stop being late. =X

through the year, there was much fun.
with the highlight of it, being taiwan.
the eight of us went, through the air.
and there we spent, without a care.

birthdays galore, 2008.
with many twenty-firsts, on the cake.
i’m glad for the friends, celebrating with me.
everlasting friendships, i hope to see.

and in a few hours, it’s nearing the end.
here comes 2009, just around the bend.
many more blessings, i’m sure are due.
i’m ready for it… how about you? =)

that was a brief summary of what 2008 had for me.
as i was writing that rhyme…
recalling the events that happened…
i realised it’s unbelievably fast…
1 year gone just like that.

ya…
many many sweet memories.
i think this is my most memorable year by far.
=)

as for next year….
what do i hope for?

drawing closer to God.
be able to spend more time in fellowship with Him.
and having the wisdom to be able to guide others around me.

better health and fitness.
pls pls pls let me find the motivation to exercise…

and having improved relationships as well.
let me be a better friend,
and a better son and brother.
to learn to love and give with a bigger heart.

haha..
as we know…
you can give without loving,
but you can’t love without giving.

but sometimes…
it’s just so difficult to give even when you’re loving.
especially when the person you’re giving to makes it so difficult for you.
dun forget…
material items aren’t the only gifts we can receive.
sometimes ppl may want to give gifts of their time,
or of an experience.
just to have you reject them without even realising it.

sorry that the entry suddenly turned so sour…
but i was typing typing typing when this recent event came to my mind.
perhaps that was one of the sadder times for me in the year bahZ.
when i tried to give my friends some time to experience something we’ve not had in a long time…
yet a number of them were not even interested in that short time.
makes me wonder if there are some changes to be made.

but anyway,
what’s passed is past.
2008 was still a great year!
and i’m looking forward to 2009!
=)

i’m ready for it… how about you? =)

christmas came,
and christmas’s gone.
and…
i almost didn’t even notice.
haha,
that was really one of my busiest christmas ever.
=P

and now…
the year’s coming to an end.
what have i got to show for 2008?
hmmm…
i’ll have to think abt that.

it does show that he’s strong…
but i would expect a battle involving him to have more ‘wow’ factor man..
or maybe it’s just wrong angles of drawing.

even though the rest of the chapter was pretty boring…
that scene was worth this week’s wait.

and finally i can move further away from the toilet in peace.

and so,
leadership camp 2008 has ended.
and i’m suffering from a bad bad stomachache.
hopefully it’s not food poisoning.

the camp was pretty ok.
the first day we were mostly playing..
with the exception of elvis,
who blew up at them abt 2 hours or less into the camp.
=P

snapped away with my camera.
shiok.
in the end didn’t really observe much.
=X

and that night,
they were up till 4 am playing red alert 3.
crazy.
thankfully i was sane enough to get some shut-eye.
=P

and at 4 am,
there was a turn-out conducted.
and that’s when we showed that we still had the reiatsu in us.
=)

but after that,
most of the clts were KO-ed…
thanks to all that RA3.

and poor me…
i think the mee goreng disagreed with me,
and for the last 2 hours of the camp i was basically saying hello to the toilet…
with both ends.
=X

even up till now,
i’ve still been paying frequent visits.

crap.

what a bad way to end the camp man…
i even had plans to give one of my legendary motivational talks at the end.
=(
nvm,
i shall go back during the next training to give that wonderful talk.
=)

quite excited abt tmr.
leadership camp 2008.

we’ll be going there as observers.
but if trouble arises,
we may just have to draw our zanpakutō.
and if we get into the momentum…

we haven’t shown our bankai in years…

but i’ll most probably just be my nice cheerful self,
snapping away with my camera.

went to makansutra glutton’s bay for dinner after service.
oh man…
dun ever order the chicken porridge.
i think it’s just instant porridge lah.
and it ain’t even worth $2,
let alone $4… 
in my opinion.
=P

after that,
received a call from alwyn.
some of the guys from 2b were going to catch a movie.
and so i joined them to watch…
bolt~!
nice movie.
the storyline is as expected.
but i still love these animated movies.
=)

and off we went for prata after that.
